The team you know here at Trail Sherpa has a very storied past. We’ve been working together for years building websites and online communities by crafting actionable digital strategies. Jessica, my head of design, has been with me since 2002 and we’ve grown a lot together.
In 2009, I started Vestor Logic to help businesses do what we had been doing successfully all these years. This was our first step into the world of consulting but we formed some really strong client relationships right from the beginning.
One of those clients that welcomed us from the very beginning is Sheetz, a chain of 420+ convenience stores which started in Altoona, PA just 20 minutes from where I grew up. I’ve known this brand since childhood and have seen firsthand how positively they impact the local communities around my hometown.
So it’s with great pleasure and tremendous pride that I share their most recent milestone with you.
1 million likes!
Last weekend, Sheetz reached the 1 million “likes” milestone and we couldn’t be more proud of this achievement The team at Sheetz is a very open and daring bunch. They’re a true pleasure to work with and their willingness to try ideas makes our job really easy.
We began advising Sheetz on their digital strategy before they had even ventured onto Facebook. We truly have been part of their digital team from the beginning providing daily monitoring and insightful reporting on trends and monthly analysis.
The legion of Sheetz Freakz, the dedicated brand loyalists that appreciate a latenight Sheetz Run, are now 1 million strong!
The role that social media has played in this process is one of empowering the brand’s customers to share their ideas and opinions more than one of the brand shaping those sentiments. Social outreach has given the brand and its loyal customers a venue to chat and exchange ideas. It’s been tremendously rewarding and we are anxious to continue on this journey with them.
