For the first time in about a decade I shut down for a few weeks. My wife had the full week of Christmas off and this week is a scattered mess. Having time to step back, without a single concern for mobile or social media, I was able to soak in the progress of a great 2013 for our two digital agencies.
We added dozens of web design clients to our family at Vestor Logic and Trail Sherpa. We began to transition one of our biggest social media strategy clients as they move towards a more in-house team but it’s been a nearly 4 year run as their lead digital strategy agency. And in December we added a results based SEO service that is already taking off.
But more than anything. I was struck by just how cool our agency clients have become. We’ve always had cool clients but they were scattered across a wide range of industries, most industries that I had very little personal experience to lean on. But 2013 hatched a handful of fantastic clients in the outdoor industry.
The two most recent outdoor brands to join our family are great examples of brands that I can personally relate to and most importantly can help with a passion for our shared interest of the outdoors.
Trekking, walking, tramping – whatever you call it – hits our sweet spot at Trail Sherpa Design. Imagine a 7 day trek through the unique landscape of Marin County, CA with overnight stays in plush Inns. And best part, the food matches the luxury of your lodging. Great food, amazing guided tour of the best that Marin County offers, and communal dinners to end each day.
Who wouldn’t be up for that! Learn more about TrekInnMarin.

Yep, that’s what the guys at Flow397 do. They are an emerging clothing retailer that donates $3.97 of every transaction to the National Parks.

Flow397 hired Vestor Logic for a site redesign focused on making the site more responsive on mobile devices and to decrease site load times. We’ll deliver a seamless experience for shoppers on any device. We will also be driving the brand’s SEO efforts moving forward. It’s a great story to tell and we’re pleased to be part of it.
Over the course of the year I’ve seen more and more outdoor brands join our family of clients. I’d expect that trend to continue as we begin more SEO campaigns. A new year, a new service, and even more outdoor stoke to keep me going. Yeah, 2014 is going to be a banner year for me and our two agencies I would guess.
Happy new year!
